Isle Of Portland Orchids

  Our plants are all ready to take to Portchester for the Wessex Orchid Society Show. We are pleased to be taking 44 different species for our sales table (above) and 33 lovely species for a little display (below) we hope to see lots of our orchid friends there.

  We love getting photos from people who have bought orchids from Isle of Portland Orchids to let us know how their plants are doing. This Coelogyne cristata belongs to Lesley, and is looking terrific. Well done Lesley.

  Isle Of Portland Orchids is doing its first show on 2nd March 2024. A big thank you to the Wessex Orchid Society for inviting us to bring a small display  and our sales table. We are having lots of fun working out a display layout and hope that people will find it interesting. Do come along and say hello. If anyone would like to buy plants before hand for us to bring to the show, just order on our ETSY shop and we will refund all postage and bring to the show.

  Today was spring cleaning day in our cloud forest greenhouse removing algae on the floor and on the glass. Good hygiene reduces plant pathogens in the greenhouse and cleaning the glass will let the lovely early spring sunshine in to get plants growing.
